I believe it’s important to specialize in what you do. When we have concerns about our health, we prefer to go to an expert. Professional sports are built on the idea of specializing. Even cars are getting to the point of needing a dedicated mechanic. Why would you demand anything less from your real estate broker?
It’s with that focus in mind that I specialize in the sales, leasing and development of retail properties.
I love retail real estate. It’s got a “wow” factor. People with no understanding of real estate actually care what’s happening in the world of retail real estate. They can drive by a corner and easily see a new retail building taking shape and the tenants going in. They notice immediately after a restaurant shutters and rumors fly when activity occurs on a long dormant site. Retail gets people excited. I like that energy.
A client once told me, “The deal of the century comes along every week.” That advice has served me well when times get rough and deals go sideways.
